Let's take a look back at the St. Louis Cardinals' 2011 Season! -
Things started with a long, cold winter at Busch.

Before Spring training even began, word came that we'd lost Adam Wainright for the season.

Opening day... and Stan the Man didn't disappoint.

Ozzie, Willie, and Vince were reunited prior to a game mid-season.

A rare day off meant golf for Big Mac.

...and for Chris Carpenter.

Albert struggled... but not for long.

St. Louis's own Chuck Berry was honored before a game.

Only Albert and Yadi could make crunches look fun.

Not Albert's most flattering photo.

The ballpark turned into a mega-concert facility when U2 invaded Busch.

Everyone remember how hot it was all summer?

There’s screwy...and then there’s screwy. Matt Holliday had to be taken out of a game when a moth flew into his ear.

Cardinals fans held their collective breath when Albert collided with a runner at first and went down hard.

I think I found our closer.

HEY COLBY! How do you feel about Canada?!

I found this ancient photo of Tony from the 70s in my archives.

Late August at Wrigley... and things were not looking good for The Redbirds.

The Playoffs begin in October agiainst the heavily favored Phillies.... UNTIL...

The Rally Squirell arrived

...and arrived

...and arrived

...and arrived

Albert, who received a rousing ovation from the fans on the final weekend of the regular season, hit three monstrous home runs in Texas.

The official ball of the World Series.

MLB and the Cardinals threw a huge party at the stadium the night before the Series began, and I had a chance to catch up with my pal, John Ulett.

Game One pitcher Chris Carpenter looked like he meant business.

On Channel Five, I let everyone know how much we want Albert to stay in St. Louis.

A moment with Ozzie prior to Game Seven.

Heroics from Alan Craig.

We win!

MVP David Freese.

Couldn’t have done it without Lance.

Next year we’ll be even stronger with the return of “Wain-O.”

Jaime Garcia came up big when we needed him.

Skip contributed all over the place.

Tough Series for Matt, but he did help us get there.

Victory!

Everyone said they didn’t have a chance.

How sweet it is!

Go crazy, folks. Go crazy.

Celebrate good times, come on!
